M7 POWERTRAIN

WE SET THE BAR FOR ENGINE DESIGN. NOW WE'RE RAISING IT.

Everyone is always talking about ‘improved fuel efficiency’. And that makes sense. Better fuel efficiency means fewer emissions and less money spent on fuel. But at Kubota, our engineers do a lot more than talk. For our new M7, they built a turbocharged engine that combines Kubota’s DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technologies so it meets even the strictest Tier4 Final regulations.

Kubota V6108 Engine

A cleaner greener engine exceeding Tier4 Final emission regulations.

The combination of our Common Rail System (CRS) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) muffler and an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system ensures that the M7 not only meets the Tier4 Final emissions regulations we all have to comply to, the M7 dramatically exceeds them. That makes the M7 a more efficient tractor with better fuel economy and less engine noise.

M7 Powertrain

Get a Power Boost when you need it.

Sometimes you need an extra boost to see a tough job through. So when you need a little extra, the M7s PowerBoost instantly deliver more power to let you finish the job you started.

Less time at the pump. More time in the field.

To help you work longer between refueling stops, the M7 is equipped with large tanks for fuel (87 gal.) and urea (10 gal.)

M7 Powertrain

Turbocharged & Intercooled

Available in 128, 148, and 169 Horsepower Outputs.

The V6108 boasts the latest in clean-engine technology in a 4 Cylinder 6124 CC (374 cu.in.) turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine. Available in 128, 148 and 169 Horsepower rated outputs.

M7 Available Transmissions

KVT (Kubota Variable Transmission)

Work at the optimum speed for each job with a virtually infinite number of forward and reverse speeds (available on the M7 Premium). Highly responsive and reliable, the KVT also features dynamic breaking—engine-assisted deceleration—to help maintain control and a constant traveling speed when you go down slopes.

24-Speed Powershift

The M7 features Kubota’s original, dependable, and automatic Powershift transmission. It provides 4 forward and 4 reverse speeds across six speed ranges (a total of 24 speeds), that can be shifted without clutch.

Optional creeper for extremely careful work. Some special jobs can’t be done properly at normal working speeds. That’s why the M7 gives you 16 forward and 16 reverse creep speeds so you can take advantage of extremely low working speeds.

Optional 50K Top Speed

In addition to standard 40K traveling speed (25mph), 50K (31mph) is also available on both KVT and Powershift transmissions.
